22nd Annual Mayoral Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease

The 22nd Annual Mayoral Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease will convene at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan on Tuesday, October 31st. Beginning with Early Bird Workshops, the day will include current research findings, models and practices in Alzheimer’s disease, caregiving and long term care issues. In addition to workshops led by experts, the Conference will focus on New Models of Care and include interactive demonstrations on topics such as art therapy and healthy eating. To reflect the multi-cultural nature of the city, simultaneous electronic translation is available in Spanish, Russian and Mandarin for general sessions and selected workshops.

The conference is proudly presented by the NYC Department for the Aging, the Aging in New York Fund, the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, and the Alzheimer’s Association, NYC Chapter. For more information about the program and registration fees, please e-mail kwalker@aging.nyc.gov or call 212-788-3169.
