our partnership with the NYC Department
for the Aging, were recognized by the
National Association for Agencies on
Aging — Alzheimer’s Disease Educational
Outreach Initiative & Home Care Aide
Training on Alzheimer’s Disease (offered
in English, Spanish & Chinese). We are
very proud of this national recognition
and our collaboration with DFTA.
 New York Ranger Brendan Shanahan
accepting, from Mark Messier, the
Mark Messier Leadership Award on
November 14, 2006 for his outstanding
leadership both on and off the ice.
Brendan requested that the $5,000 gift
that accompanies the award be directed
to the work of the Alzheimer’s
Association, New York City Chapter.
