What’s in a name? Our name is somewhat misleading. We are the Alzheimer’s Association, but we are a resource for people with all kinds of memory disorders, their family members, caregivers and professionals. To share this information, we’ve created a new featured article, “If It’s Not Alzheimer’s.” Every issue will focus on another form of dementia, beginning with Vascular Dementia. The information is also available by clicking here.

And…by the time you receive this issue of our Quarterly Newsletter it will be Spring! Spring is my favorite season bringing renewal and rebirth. Spring 2007 brings forth the rebirth of our Newsletter. In addition to our ever expanding content of information, we hope you will be pleased with the new design.

As always, I welcome your newsletter comments and ideas. Please send them to Susan Sugarman, Editor, Alzheimer’s Association, NYC Chapter, 4th Fl., New York, NY 10017, or by e-mail at ssugarman@alznyc.org.
