This year’s Memory Walk will be better than ever! Join us at Riverside Park on Sunday, October 22, 2006. We will be using a new park entrance this year - West 96th Street & Riverside Drive. The day will begin at 9:00 am with registration and breakfast followed by opening ceremonies and special awards. The scenic two-mile walk begins at 11:00 am on what we hope to be a beautiful autumn day.

Your support of Memory Walk 2006 is essential! Start making plans now to start a team. It’s a fun and exciting way to spend time with your friends, family, and co-workers. The enthusiasm that our team members bring to Memory Walk each year is amazing. We urge you to participate and create a family or corporate team of your own.

Also new for Memory Walk 2006 is a VIP Breakfast Reception. Individual participants who raise over $2,000 and teams which raise over $10,000 will be invited to enjoy a special breakfast in our VIP tent.

Consider this - if each Memory Walk participant raises a minimum of $200 and we have 4,000 registered walkers, we could raise a minimum of $800,000! This will allow the Chapter to continue to provide vital programs and services, free of charge, to our NYC Alzheimer’s community.
