Support Groups

In a support group, people with the diagnosis come together to talk about living and coping with Mild Cognitive Impairment or an early form of dementia. The group provides members with a safe, supportive environment in which to share their thoughts and feelings about what it’s like to live with dementia.

The early-stage persons’ support group meets at the Chapter office every Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. -3:30 p.m.

An interview is required before joining the group. Please call Lauren Tiede at 646-744-2946 to schedule an appointment.

There are other support groups in the New York City area. If you would like more information about joining one, contact us at 646-744-2900 or click here.
