A s our fiscal year comes to a close, we are
diligently working to ensure that we have a
strong financial footing to start FY11.
As of this writing, our Mothers Day and
Fathers Day Tribute program has shown a
60% increase over 2009. We have also had a
full events calendar this quarter as reflected
by the pictures on both sides of this page.
Our events have ranged from a book
signing at The Friars Club, to our very first
Spring Tea, to our annual “Forget-Me-Not”
Gala, which this year was chaired by Frank
J. Bisignano, CAO of JPMorgan Chase, and
raised $1.1 million.
Please be sure to review the “Ways to
Give” column and our policy regarding
donations and those that are shared with
our National Association. And pay careful
attention to “Know Your Charity.” There
are many charities that have the word
Alzheimer’s in their name. Please be sure
that you are supporting us. Below is a list
of organizations that are not affiliated with
the Association.
Thank you for your help in making the
Chapter a life-saving resource for so many
New Yorkers who need a place to turn in
time of need. We could not do our work
without you. Please contact me at
