Caregiver Support Groups are listed by general location in each borough. Many of our groups are co-sponsored with other organizations. This is indicated by an asterisk (*).
Before joining a group, we highly recommend you:

Attend an Understand Dementia Meeting. Call the 24 hour HELPLINE at 800-272-3900 to sign–up for a meeting
- Call the support group leader and schedule a personal interview. This gives you an opportunity to ask questions to be sure the group is right for you.
- Select only one group and attend 3 meetings before deciding if it is right for you
