Alzheimer's research is advancing at an accelerating pace. The Alzheimer's Association is the largest private funder of research. The New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is proud to be a partner in NYCARE (New York Consortium for Alzheimer's Research and Education) a joint effort of the chapter and the three Alzheimer's Centers in New York City – at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center and NYU School of Medicine, funded by the National Institute on Aging.

In addition to clinical trials and research, NYCARE holds education programs for physicians and other medical providers, writes a column on current research issues for the quarterly Chapter newsletter and much more.
