Junior Committee Outreach

Outreach is a volunteer program led in partnership with a dedicated memory loss facility in New York City. Through art engagement, the program emphasizes autonomy, self-expression, the relationship between the individual with Alzheimer’s and the volunteer, and public education. Volunteers learn how to communicate with this population and participate in debriefing sessions. We meet on Sunday mornings each month.
