I am pleased to be teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Association to create a website that features teen writing. I hope that readers will enjoy the stories, poems and essays written by teens and learn more about Alzheimer’s through reading my summaries of articles on the disease and interviews of people who have a family member or friend who is afflicted by the disease. Additionally, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to this organization. Every dollar that is made to the Alzheimer’s Association will bring us that much closer to helping families with a loved one afflicted with this disease and finding a cure for Alzheimer’s.

I encourage teens to send me any writing that they would like posted on my website by e-mailing me at I am most grateful to the teens who already have sent me their wonderful pieces. Additionally, I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has information and research on Alzheimer’s.

My grandfather suffered from Alzheimer’s during the last few years of his life and died on December 22, 2007. We bonded over our love for creative writing. Shortly after his death, I decided to raise awareness about the disease by starting a website that featured my writing as well as information on Alzheimer’s. Later, in order to reach a broader audience, I decided to create this website featuring teen writing, including my own, under the auspices of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Thank you for your support!
